Maesyn - violinist, vocalist
Maesyn is a vocalist and violinist who wanders the world, sharing in musical union and hugging often. She performs with her solo project, and also in the elevationary hip-hop band, Luminaries. Maesyn grew up in a household of musicians, playing in the family band. She began her classical training at age 4, playing violin in baroque ensemble and orchestra. Her father was a folk musician, and as a young child she'd jump on stage with his band to sing and fiddle. Having spent years in a cappella groups, she loves to harmonize and beatbox. Quoth she, "There is no union more blissful than merging in harmonic vibrational frequency!!" Maesyn is passionately obsessed with deprogramming societal conditioning, and using her psyche as a canvas to create art's manual for self-liberation. She sings, writes poetry, whistles, percusses, plays violin, guitar, and a wee bit of piano. MUSIC IS LIFE. And so it is.
Suzen Cho - vocalist
SUZEN CHO is a singer/songwriter/pianist/actor/dancer. She started playing piano by ear at the age of 5 and was blessed that her parents recognized and supported her talent by starting her in classical piano studies which continued throughout her undergraduate years.
Upon graduation, Susan realized that even though she was from a family of natural singers, she wanted to explore her own voice. Through a vocal coach, she discovered jazz and took to it like a fish to water. Just a year later, through word of mouth, she started performing at major local venues, such as the San Jose Jazz Festival. Susan relocated to New York City to pursue her passion for jazz but had her eyes opened to a new world and eventually realized she needed to sing more personal music. These days she is based in Los Angeles and enjoys writing words and music and hopes her music is inspiring and uplifting to whomever hears it.
